Summary: An excellent book!!!
Review: I have been listing to Manson's music for a while and I liked his book almost as much as I like his music. I rarely find it easy to sit down and read a book usually because I fall asleep from bordem. But Manson's book was one of thoes that you couldn't put down. I highly recomend it.

Review: SINCE HIS IMERGENCE ONTO THE MAIN STREAM ROCK FRONT, MARILYN MANSON HAS BEEN THE SCAPE GOAT FOR ALL RIGHT WING CHRISTIANS TO SAY, "SEE, THIS IS WHAT ROCK DOES TO OUR CHILDREN." IF HALF OF THOSE CLOSE MINDED BIGOMISTS TOOK THE TIME TO READ THIS BOOK AND SEE FOR THEMSELVES THAT THE VERY REASON HE PORTRAYS THE THINGS HE DOES IS DIRECT RESULTS OF THEIR OWN OPPRESION OF SOCIETY. THE MERE FACT THAT HE ADMITS THAT HE DOESN'T BELEIVE IN HELL OR SATAN SHOULD DIMINISH THE STEREOTYPE ATTITUDE TOWARD MARILYN MANSON. AS A REALIST MYSELF, AND MAY I ADD, NOT THE BIGGEST FAN OF MARILYN MANSON, I HAVE SEEN MORE EVIL EMERGE FROM RECOGNIZED RELEGIOUS GROUPS THAN PEOPLE SIMPLY TRYING TO VENT FROM A LIFE LONG JOURNEY TRYING TO SOAK UP ALL THIS WORLD HAS DUMPED ON HIM. GIVE THE MAN A BREAK AND READ HIS BOOK, YOU WILL, IF YOU ARE NOT COMPLETELY BRAINWASHED BY WHATEVER RELEGION YOU PRACTICE, REALIZE MARILYN MANSON HAS A MESSAGE WRITTEN ON THOSE PAGES WHICH NEEDS NOT ONLY TO BE HE! ARD BUT UNDERSTOOD.

Summary: When will people open there eyes?
Review: Well he is right about one thing, people are still hating him for the wrong reasons. Most of the people who reviewed this book, dislike him because he misrepresented Satanism, or because his real life isn't as demented as his image, or he isn't as talented a writer/philosopher as he was made up to be. WOW! What about the fact that he is making $millions$ for acting stupidly insane on stage and sucking younger and younger children into his insubordinate lifestyle and/or world view? God is an idiot, authorities and law enforcment are just there to stop you from having a good time. Because God and the police know how to have a good time but, they just don't want you to have one. Right? WAKE UP!

Review: Sitting on a stunned throne I read. Reading a book that I thought I would never pick up in my life. As a Christian I sit and test the Christian nature of "Marylin Manson. What I found was a person abused by what the world had offered, and by finding freedom in himself, he reached stardom. Not stardom in the sense of money but stardom in the sense of Self-accomplishment. Marylin Manson has shown to me the ugliness of the world through this book, and in the same the ugliness in the nature of human existence. People who say that he is satanic haven't spent the time to read this book or listen to the true meaning of the words he preaches. Don't get me wrong, I do not believe in what he is....or some of the things he portrays but he is an accomplished asset to society. He preaches the truth whether we like it or not. The hate, the dark side of evil forms around us and he is one of the few to tell it the way it is. I really enjoyed this book to the fullest and I ! ! think anyone who is not a Manson fan will find a little piece with what he represents after reading this.

Review: Manson wrote this book to clear up misconceptions about himself and his band. He did this. I know because my mom never wanted me to listen to his music because of the rumors she heard but this book helped her decided on her own... Maybe it can help others do the same thing.

Summary: This is a beautiful interpretation of the wrath of humanity
Review: This book was fantastic in the sense that it advocated change and balance between good and evil. (V)anson's world of darkness is mixed with a tantalizing fantasy. The combination of both sickness and health creates a balance of harmony that is not perceived in this facade of reality where morality is the basis for all truths. It educates the mind with thoughts of shame, evil, deception, and abused power. These things that exist in the dark side of this reality is seldom recognized by individuals who thrive only on purity and innocence. (V)anson introduces the evil and darkness that can not be ignored if humanity expects to survive through the tests of time. (V)anson provides definition and purpose to individualism, beauty, and sacrifice. This book combines humor, wisdom, and thought-provoking themes and ideas. It provides a window for imagination and dreams that might seem morbid and irrational to some but a beautiful piece of art for others. Although it might ! ! not be recommended for the more conservative type of person, it should still be read by all.

Summary: A book for every one
Review: I purchased this book three days after it came out, and I was suprised. I expected it to be a creepy and disturbing book, but I found out that everything people hae said or thought about him was completely wrong and verry far off. At some parts the book was funny and not disturbing at all. As soon as I was done I let a friend who did not like Manson and they enjoyed it as much as I did. Almost anyone could read this and enjoy it very much. It tells the story of when he was a child in a christen school, to his first time high, his rise to fame and his love life. It een has chapters that talk about the lies and rumors about him. Plus three tests to see if your gay, cheetig, or addicted to drugs. Once again; I loved this book. Any one who isn't a manson fan would like it, and the fans will love it! To any one who still isn't sure: just try it.
