Summary: About this book
Review: Book Review The Long Hard Road Out Of Hell Alex Link By: Marilyn Manson with Neil Strauss 1/21/99

Many people think nothing of the shock-rocker Marilyn Manson. But his new book out is a true insight in growing up, from school, to, to the pressure of fame and drugs. I was surprised at his good style of writing, and it was very interesting, to find out what would provoke him to act the way he does today. It says how his parents were abnormally strange and his disgustingly sick grand father that bewildered even Manson to this day. He was very honest about himself telling that he was a stupid hypocrite, just like every other person that ever lived on this earth. It's almost sick to know, that his relatives and friends, drove him to so much, insanity.

Summary: I have a newfound respect for Marilyn Manson
Review: Being a late gen-Xer, I never understood the popularity of Marilyn Manson. Then I read his book. I now have a new respect for him, as he is very intelligent and honest about his band and career in this book. I think anyone who reads this book will be equally impressed, especially if you were also a "child of the 80s." Thanks Marilyn, for letting us all into your childhood!

Summary: BY FAR THE BEST BOOK I'VE EVER HAD THE PLEASURE TO READ!
Review: I could not put this book down, it was interesting, funny, sad, intelligent, honest, and very insightful. It perfectly described my favorite celebrity, the man that society loves to hate. People may say he looks or acts strange, but what if their child was born mentally retarded, or had an unsightly growth on his/her face?? Would they want anyone to judge them by this?? It's just further proof that humanity hates and looks down in disgust at anyone different than them. But really, what can be called normal?? If God wanted everyone to look or act the same, it would be. This book is all that and a bag of skittles!!!!!

Summary: The best rock auto-biography of the year!
Review: All I can say is that, this as to be one of the most excited ,honest storys I've read since "Boy George's, Take it like a man". I honestly only bought this book on the interest of "whom" Marilyn Manson really was. I implaw you to all take a good look at yourselves after reading this book, In my estemation this guy is a genius, yet no different to the rest of us. ENJOY!!
