Summary: Absolutely fascinating!
Review: Wow! I loved this book and was disappointed when it was over. I was left wanting more, but having to be satisfied with what I got. It is a realistic and powerful view into the evolution of an amazing group of men. I would recommend it to anyone.

Summary: Aerosmith Forever
Review: I am a hardcaore Aerosmith fan and thought I knew everything about the band. This book proved me wrong. Just reading it is an adventure. You seem to feel what the members of the band feel throughout their struggles and triumphs. I'll never find a book that beats this one!

Summary: Just unreal.
Review: I have listened to Aerosmith's music since 1976 and won't stop until I die. This was the most incredible autobiography I have ever read. These guys are truly "Amazing" and I commend them on their survival. I felt as though I was in on the conversations throughout the book and cried my heart out during the confrontation part. I was so moved by this book having been a long time fan that I love and appreciate them even more now. They didn't have to share their lives in such a candid way, but now we can all appreciate their awesome work even more. They surpass any other band on this planet - and even other planets. Truly a great book to read over and over.

Summary: Excellent, not only for the Aerosmith fan
Review: Having been a fan of Aerosmith for many years, I eagerly awaited the release of this book and was not disappointed. I have read it twice, once over a year ago and again less than a month ago. When it comes out in February in paperback, I will certainly add it to my collection (am hoping it will be updated to include '97 & '98). It is incredibly engaging and engrossing and at times, embarrassing. While I adore this band and Steven Tyler in particular, I found myself at times cringing for him as he relives some of the more sordid details of his remarkable 50 years. This book is not for the squeamish because the consequences of the drug use and sexual obsession are pretty graphic but in the end it is so uplifting because these five guys basically crawled out of the ashes and rebuilt their lives and their careers when many would have ended up dead or subject of a VH1 Where Are They Now. There are no saints portrayed here, just five extremely talented yet flawed human beings who fight, love, and live to the very fullest (and make better music than bands half their age). Having "grown up" with Aerosmith and the music that influenced their sound, I found myself with an almost "deja vu" feeling about much of their recollections of their individual early years. I would recommend this book for all Aerosmith fans (but probably don't need to) and to anyone interested in a warts-and-all account of drugs, sex, and rock-and-roll!

Summary: A wonderful, full detailed book of the lives of Aerosmith!
Review: This book is a very detailed discription of the drugs, woman, and the music. It tells the very hard truth. I think that it is even better, because it was written by the guys who lived it! I love it, I would recommend it to anyone who likes Aerosmith or wants to learn about a legend!

Summary: Great read about the greatest rock band in the world!
Review: INTERESTING, RAW AND FUN. THIS AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF AEROSMITH TELLS THE TRUTH BEHIND THERE RISE 2 THE TOP AND THE HARDSHIPS THAT THEY FACED ALONG THE WAY. A MUST READ 4 ALL AEROSMITH FANS! = )

Summary: A STORY OF OVERCOMING ADDICTIONS AND RISING TO THE TOP AGAIN
Review: This was a great book. It was heartbreaking to read of the addictions, dependencies and depravities that plaque so many of the bands of modern times. I found myself rooting for Aerosmith all the way. Their story should be an inspiration to anyone who is in the grips of drug addiction and a warning to up and coming bands of the pitfalls of celebrity and to people in general of the dangers of certain excesses.. I am a huge Steven Tyler fan and admire his honesty about still resenting his "intervention" because of the circumstances under which it was done. I give him even more credit for succeeding in spite of his resentment. Walk This Way is a true success story told honestly by the people who lived it. Here's hoping they're around for another 30 years.
