Review: Walk This Way is a must read book for anyone who has ever been an Aerosmith fan. Aerosmith lived the dreams of so many young people and now they tell their story with both the ups and downs of success. The members of Aerosmith are candid in the way they see life in a rock band. It is a no holds barred approach but what else can you expect from a group that produced "Back in the Saddle," "Dream On," "Rock in a Hard Place," and many others. In the end it all boils down to their music. Joey, Tom, Brad, Joe and Steve. One thing I don't understand, though, is why Steven Tyler, who despite all the critics, wrote some of the best rock lyrics of all time did not get together with Joe and write the whole book.

Review: I really loved this book. For many people growing up during the rise of Aerosmith, they were a really big inspiration. This book can give hope to those who are experiencing some of the things that they went through, it shows that you can live through the rough times and still come out on top.

Review: I have read every single book on Aerosmith there is. This howevever is by far the best. You get to take a REAL look inside ALL of the band members lives and see what they went through and how it made them feel. If you are a TRUE aerosmith fan you know this is a one in a lifetime thing to do. The book was so touching and real that i cried many, many, times. I am only 17 years old but I think that Aerosmith was and still is the best sound in music ever! I felt that it was a privilage to read this book and now I know Steven and the boys a little better! Review: An amazing thrill ride. I felt like I was right there with the band! Aerosmith has a truly fascinating story to tell, and you should read it! It's great to see them still rocking after all they've been through. I loved reading about their origin. It's amazing how young they where when they made their first album. They literally had nothing but their instruments, and ambition.

Summary: The rise to fame of America's greatest rock band
Review: This book is a must-read for any Aerosmith fan. I couldn't put the book down!!! Rather than just tell the story of the band, the author used the actual band members and their entourage to tell what actually went on during their rise to fame. After reading the book I have a new appreciation for the hard work and dedication the band members put into Aerosmith. It was a long, hard struggle to the top. I also gained a new appreciation for the band members themselves as I learned of their struggles with drug and alcohol addiction and their subsequent sobriety. The book was truely inspiring, not what you would expect from an autobiography of one of the world's most notorious rock and roll bands. After reading "Walk This Way" one can't help but think that any thing is possible if you want it bad enough! Please note that the language may be objectional to some readers.

Summary: COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN UNTIL I'D FINISHED IT
Review: Having been into AEROSMITH since 1977 I did not expect any surprises. BOY WAS I WRONG, I mean, did you know that Joe and Toms JAM BAND had a live album pressed up(albeit a very limited pressing). I couldn't put this book down , it realy delves deeply into the good/bad times, there are some really funny stories and some poigniant ones. A great read from a great band. Hey you might even learn something!

Review: This book is my Bible!! I have been a huge fan for years, and I thought the life of a rock star would be perfect. Boy did this book change my mind! These guys ROCK and this book explains in detail just how hard this band has actually had to struggle to make it in the music buisness. However, it is filled with very explicit details that I wouldn't reccomend for a young child. >:(
