Summary: Brand New Aerosmith Fan
Review: I was raised hearing my mother jamming to Aerosmith. I had always liked their music but I would not have called my self a fan until I was finished reading this book. Aerosmith Autobiography is the most awesome book ever. This book follows the life of five rockstar that have hit rock bottom and soared to the top time and time again. The stories these guys told are unbelievable. The fight they put up to overcome their drug and alcohol addiction was amazing. This book makes you feel like you have a personal relationship with Aerosmith. I recommend this book to all Aerosmith fans. If you are not a fan and it just so happens you are looking for a artist to write a college paper on, this book tells all.

Summary: Couldn't put it down!
Review: Having loved Aerosmith since 1974, I found myself so into this book that I couldn't get much done until I finished reading it! I knew that they partyed hard, and the "Toxic Twins" label on Steven and Joe was no surprise, but I was still amazed by so much of what I read. The fact that they produced such incredible music while maintaining an amazingly destructive lifestyle AND came back bigger and better than ever says a lot about the immense amount of talent inside all of these guys. This book, with many excellent photos, is a riveting account of the long and and sometimes turbulent career of America's greatest rock and roll band.

Summary: A must for all Aerosmith fans
Review: This is the best book written about Aerosmith, much less by AEROSMITH! If you consider yourself a fan, this is a must read for you. I actually purchased this book from an Amazon.com user in hardback for $$$ in perfect condition. The price only made the read that much better.

Summary: My favorite book! Couldn't put it down.
Review: I bought this book about a year after it first came out because I'm a long-time fan of Aerosmith's music and loved it. I even got bored later on and read it again. I'd read a couple of different books on Aerosmith a couple of years ago but they weren't very well put together. Walk This Way is an excellent book because it is told by the members themselves about their experiences as a band.

This book tells the honest truth about Aerosmith, straight from the source. It takes you from the time each of them started out in bands of their own as teenagers up to now. They tell you the whole story, through their successes, their failures, the drug addictions, the girlfriends, lost fortunes-everything. This is a must-have for any Aerosmith fan.

Summary: Best Book Ever!!
Review: This is the best Aerosmith book ever! Told in the words of the band, family members. crew members, producers etc, it gives an awesome account of the rise, fall and rise again of five of the most talented musicians in rock today. "Walk this Way" is the consumate story of what happens when 5 guys make it, are tempted by alcohol, drugs, fast cars, money and women and lose everything. It's amazing that all five of them survived, but I'm glad they're still here and I'm glad that Stephen Davis wrote the book. There are great pictures too!! The only thing I was sorry about is that the book had to end! I'm reading it over again it was so good!!

Summary: From a longtime fan
Review: I've loved Aerosmith since I was 13 years old and heard them "rapping" with Run DMC! I've long gotten over my "rap" phase, but Aerosmith will always remain one of my favorite bands! If you've read "Hammer of the Gods" by Stephen Davis, you'll get the picture this isn't going to be some goody-goody glossed over account of Aerosmith. I was never disappointed with this book, it never slows down. It gets into the major drug abuse, the various girlfriends, as well as the history of Aerosmith and Steven Tyler's background. A must have book for any Aerosmith fan.

Summary: A masterpiece
Review: Walk This Way is an excellent autobiography explaining the long, hard road Aerosmith had to face before becoming one of the greatest Rock and Roll legends of all time.
I think anyone who is looking for an excellent source of pure facts would enjoy this book.
This is my favorite book because it goes into detail, the hard road these men had to face.

Summary: Walk This Way:The Autobiography of Aerosmith by Aerosmith
Review: I absolutely loved this book. I am a huge Aerosmith and Steven Tyler fan and this book just fasinated me. It told the whole story from the beginning up until the Nine Lives album of how the band came to be and stayed together and the story came right out of the mouths of the band members and all the people that crossed their paths. ... Anyway, "Walk this Way" was hard to put down, I highly recommend it if you are a hard core Aerosmith fan and want to know everything about them. Loved it!

Summary: QUALITY!!
Review: I read this book when i was going through my 'mad about Aerosmith' stage. I still love their music. This book is a great read if you are interested in how they got where they are, what they got up to and the real things that rock stars get up to. If you just like them for their music, i cant see how it would interest you. I queued for 6 hours to meet the in London and woke at 4am to queue for 7hours before their concert in Wembley stadium, hence why i was interested in the book and found it very informing. But if its just quality music you are interested in, and not where its from and how it got there, then just stick to your nine lives.

Summary: Awesome Read!
Review: This book is for people who grew up in the 60's & 70's with the band Aerosmith. I cannot believe how candid the guys were in telling their stories, stories you could not believe. The beginning is kind of slow, but still excellent, mainly about their childhoods, very detailed. Then it gets into their beginnings with their first bands, and proceeds to the forming of Aerosmith. Then to the war stories of sex, drugs, & rock & roll. The stories are not your usual stories, one story was about during a tour, their accountants told them to get a cheaper jet, they looked at one, their pilot said I will quit if we have to lease this particular jet, he didn't think it was safe, so they didn't thank god, because 1 month later the band Lynyrd Skynyrd went down in that plane because of mechanincal problems! WOW! This is just 1 story of a GREAT, GREAT read, you will not want to put down! A GREAT book from cover to cover!
