Rating: Summary: Great and interinsting Review: best 4 chapters of a book i ever red
Rating: Summary: this book is the best book that I've ever read Review: You won't be dissapointed if you read this book. You'll never want to stop. I recommend this book to everyone. Even if they don't like Nirvana, it was written very well. The nice thing about it is that Kurt Cobain actually sat down with Mike Azerrad to discuss the story line. This is a great book.
Rating: Summary: Total Nirvana! This book tells it all! Review: This is probably one of the best books I have ever read. It talk about all three bandmates lives and even the previos bandmates in the early Nirvana. It talks about everything from Kurt Cobain to Courtney Love. This is one book everyone must read. Packed full of photos. One that I wasn't able to put down
Rating: Summary: Best Nirvana book ever Review: Yes THIS book is the BEST!!! It didn't suger coat and I think the fact that it was written before Kurts death helped in its sincerty and the way the author wrote it. He really did he's research and put things exactly like Kurt said them and didn't distort them at all. IF I had the chance to meet this man(Azerrad) I would just to sit and talk about Kurt for hours, cause he would definatly know what he was talking about!! This book has alot of info on Kurts and Chris's childhood, alot of info on all the other bands and stuff they were into in there youth, great storys on Kurts days outside under the bridge or his horrible way of living in the apartments, how they got intouch with Dave, there touring, there songs, and ALOT on what Kurt was like. There was no holding back or speculation in this book. It is defenitly a MUST HAVE!!!!!! There are some of the most awsome pics in there to!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: The best Nirvana book ever. Review: I loved the book. I could really tell that Micheal Azerrad took a lot of time to make this book. He goes into parts of Nirvana I never knew. I think that this book is one of the many reasons i love Nirvana
Rating: Summary: Simply cool, vey cool Review: This book is vey cool. More than anything it allows you to see the members of Nirvana for what they were, ordinary people. People that were cool, happy, selfish, mean, sensational and wonderful; just like you and me. You see how the tremendous talent of the band and the peerless songwriting skills of Cobain shot the band into the unforgiving spotlight of fame. Filled with enough little-known facts to keep even the most rabid of fans satisfied. A must read for any Nirvana fan.
Rating: Summary: An Awesome Book Review: This book was one of the greatest book I have ever read. It gave in great detail about the band, and individual members. It also has Kurt telling what his songs are about. If you are a Nirvana I suggest you read this book(even though it is long it is fast reading). In addition to all the things I said, it also has things like where the members came from, about Kurt's parents, past band members, and concerts. You are going to learn something new after reading this book.
Rating: Summary: Awesome!!! Review: If you are Nirvana and/or Kurt Cobain fan, then definatly read this book. It is undoubtly the best Nirvana book out there. Michael Azzerad does a great job of portrying each members lives, before and during there stay as a member of Nirvana. He interviews many people including, Kurt, Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic, Wendy O'Connell (Kurts mom), Courtney Love and friends of band memebers. This book is just neccasary for any Nirvana fan.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful Review: This book is better than any book that I've read. It's amazing how much I've learned about the reality of fame. How they were raised, the people they hung around with, and other things like that made them the band that everyone loves. I can't think of anyone who would critise Nirvana if they read this book. NIRVANA RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: American Dream Review: The books main theme is that the American Dream is still alive and that determination and a belief in one's goals lead to success, that was the theme, while the contents focused on a band named Nirvana and a kid named Kurt Cobain who never stopped believing in doing what he loved to do: music.
