Summary: Fantastic book, written by a fantastic lady!
Review: "Enter Whining" is a wonderful, detailed story of Fran Drescher's rise to fame and stardom. Fran isn't just your everyday, run-of-the-mill Hollywood actress, she's a real down to Earth person, with a great big attitude! (and hair-do to match!)

Summary: It's like sitting down in a coffee shop in Queens with Fran
Review: and having a hardfelt conversation Fran Drescher. Her wonderful and refreshingly honest wit will keep you laughing. Her advice and life story is clever and makes you feel like you grew up along side this amazing woman. For those of us who grew up in a Jewish household full of yentas, it's like a second homecoming. After reading this you can appreciate her sitcom by all the hard work that went into it. You also understand how close the "Nanny Fine" character is to Fran's real life. Everything from Fran's HS Drama teacher coaching the "Shetfield" kids to casting her best friend Rachel as her best friend "Val" A must read for anyone who's ever aspired to have it all. We love you Fran! The only thing I can say is, Fran, please write more - Kate

Summary: Great read!
Review: Any Fan of Fran Drescher will absolutely love this book. She is incredibly honest and down-to-earth as she chronicles the story of her troubles with receiving an appropriate diagnosis to her recovery from surgery. The book is also complete with tales from her personal life and the difficult separation from her long-time mate Peter, to her relationship with her new love, John.

Summary: I Love Lucy, I Love Fran!
Review: Believe it or not, I never watched The Nanny on prime time television (where was I?). YO. Last year I was home recovering from major surgery and started watching Lifetime (what else is there to do?). I turned on this program one morning, and I thought it was hysterical. It reminded me of I Love Lucy, my all time favorite sitcom. (Well, where have I been, apparently, everyone thinks the same thing). I was hooked and watched it almost everyday. Now it comes on in the evening. I actually got my husband to watch it (he never watched it either - no wonder we are together). He loves it. He started asking me questions about Fran. So I searched the Internet and found that she had written 3 books. I loved this book. I feel like I know her - we are even the same age (I wish I looked as good as she does). She would fit right in with my friends. We both own a Russian Blue Cat (my cat looks just like the one in the book, the collar and the tag). I really enjoyed the pictures (it is like a scrap book). I would love to meet this person. You must read this book. Can you tell I connected with this person? (I am not the "star struck" type). This is a very funny lady and I look forward to reading Cancer Schmancer. Very enjoyable read. I was able to get a "used" book because this is out of print. I hope to see her in more films.

Summary: FRAN DRESCHER IS THE COMEDY GREATEST!
Review: Everyone who likes good talk and comedy will love this book. Fran Drescher is today's greatest comedy actress in American TV. If you already know her, you must be aware this book is just like her: FANTASTIC! But if you don't, please be sure you REALLY should know her better and her book of course. You'll be delighted from the very first page to the end, not to mention the cover, which is simply marvelous! Let yourself get carried away with all her stories, told with Fran's natural charm and honesty. You'll be laughing every sheet turned down and will love her out of nothing - just because she's this incredible person she really is. A must-have for all "The Nanny" and Fran fans as well for everyone out there who simply likes laughing and having a great time. If you don't have it, buy it NOW! You won't regret it!

Summary: Absolutely Hilarious, Honest and Candid
Review: Fran Drescher is as funny in print as she was on "The Nanny". Filled with witticisms and wisecracks, you'll find this book hard to put down once you start reading it! It's also filled with tons of photos--Fran is quite a shutterbug and always has her camera ready to record even the most mundane (yet still interesting) aspects of her life. She talks about her rape with honest candor, yet still remains positive and upbeat. You'll see what a survivor she is in the face of this terrible experience. She is also a tough cookie and shrewd businesswoman when dealing with the Hollywood sharks and users. I miss her show, but have enjoyed re-reading this delightful biography. If you can't find a copy of this out-of-print book, buy the audio book. Hearing Fran narrate the story in her own voice will bring triple the laughs!

Summary: an amusing book from a fun storyteller
Review: Fran Drescher's book is a very entertaining and quick read. Filled with many funny stories and events (along with a couple of sad ones) Ms. Drescher tells the story of her rise to fame. The easygoing manner in which she tells stories and her comical viewpoint makes me believe that she's probably got a few more books in her.

Summary: There's Something About Frannie
Review: Fran Drescher: a women of many, many words. This book is hilarious. It is cleaverly written my the best actress in the world. It tells about the struggles of becoming such an amazing actress. I recomemend this book to everyone. (If you are under 14 I would have your parents read it first because there are adult situations.)
