Summary: Left Wanting More
Review: Loved the book. It was explicit and honest. Everything you want if you were and still are a DC fan. I highly recommend this book even though I was left wanting to know more about the David of the last 10 years.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A painfully honest look at celebrity life
Review: This is a well written, honest account of David Cassidy's life as "Keith Partridge". He has laid bare all his flaws including drugs, sex and alcohol while portraying the likable Keith on "The Partridge Family". It proves once and for all that what you see on TV and on the big screen is all an act. We sometimes get so involved that we expect our actors to be the characters they portray. David Cassidy has let us all know that this is not the case. Thank you David, for your honesty although it was at times difficult to read.

Summary: Juicy tell-all will blow your mind about David Cassidy
Review: Wanting to relive my youth and get the inside scoop I waited and waited for this reprint to finally arrive. I sat up one night and read the whole thing from cover to cover.

This will give you the inside scoop on David Cassidy's life in the 70's and 80's - not even close to what we all read in Tiger Beat!

I thought the book was a quick read, interesting and definately hard to put down. I'd rate it a 4 on a scale of 5. I do "regret" reading it however because my memory of my teen idol will forever be changed and I think it was better left unknown. Cassidy complains alot about royalties, relationship with his Father, studio Exec's etc. Whine, whine, whine - Poor David. While he tells us that he went through years of analysis to "get over" those years, it doesn't come across as if the therapy really helped until the last 5 pages or so and even then you are wondering...

Lot's of sex talk (and I'm not a blusher) that is very crude and present throughout the book - this is a memoir for adults only.

Summary: C'Mon, Get Happy
Review: This is the most AWESOME book ever! It tells the real story the way it really was for David. I admire him for being able to survive it all. He is truly a remarkable person and in so many ways! The best to you always, David.

Summary: C'Mon Get Happy
Review: I called the publisher on this book yesterday and was able to order it directly from them for 11.99 plus shipping. They guaranteed it within 2 weeks. The name of the publisher is Warner Books. The number is 1-800-759-0190. You just need your credit card ready. This is the only way to get it at this time. Even book stores could not guarantee delivery. Obviously they have decided to do another reprint.

Summary: I too would like to get my own copy
Review: I borrowed the book from a friend and found it to be an interesting look at the "real" David Cassidy vs. the Keith Partridge we all knew from TV. I too would like to get my own copy....

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: I would give it a 5 star if I could only get ahold of a copy
Review: After reading all of the reviews about this book it makes me want to read it even more. Unfortunately I haven't been able to successfully locate a copy. Maybe they will republish them when the movie comes out. That would be a good idea(hint hint to the publisher). Because along with the movie people may want to read it(a lot of people think that books are better then t.v. because they elaborate more on it while t.v. may cut things out). I'm am sure that this book is really interesting with a lot of insight as to the goings on behond the scenes. If anyone knows where I can get a copy please let me know. Thanks

Note to the Publisher:(If you even look at these reviews) Look at how many people are asking you to republish this book. There are a lot of fans out there that maybe never got a chance to reads this book (Me being one of them). So please if you want to make a lot of people happy republish this book. Thank you.

Summary: Danny Bonaduce
Review: I was about 6 when the partridge family first aired. But, I had the crush on Danny Bonaduce. I may have purchased the book hoping to find info on Danny but was broken hearted to learn that David Cassidy was less than thrilled about his role. Had I been a huge fan of David's this book would have been fabulous.
