Summary: Autobiography of a poetic genius....
Review: Tupac has been dead for 7 years now, and despite many books being written about him, there has never been an official autobiography--until now. "Resurrection" is his official autobiography, entirely in his own words, and is written in cinematic fashion, starting with him as a young boy up until his rise as the biggest and most influential rap artist of all time.

In addition to the many unpublished lyrics and poetry here, fans also get many copies of various documennts here, including letters he wrote in prison, his lawsuit against the city of Oakland after being beat up by the cops, dozens of rare photos, scripts, and more. But most important is the autobiography itself, which shows a whole side of Tupac that the media seem to negelect. Often portrayed in the press as a "gangster", Tupac was far too intelligent, well read, revolutionary, and ahead of his time to be labeled as a mere gangster. He was leader, and activist, and in many ways, a PROPHET. Though he has become one of the biggest icons of our time, many people dont seem to realize just how powerful he was and still is.

This is THE essential Tupac book, as it is easily superior to any other Tupac book out there. Every Tupac fan should own this, and those who seek to understand him and his music better should also purchase this book.

Summary: OFF Da HooK
Review: Tupac: Resurrection is an excellent book to read. Tupac Shakaur's life s fully depicted and portrayed well through this book. Tupac mostly tells the story of his life until his death. There were other Tupac books that I read and none of them compared to this one. If you like Tupac then you should definately read this book.
Tupacc was born on June 16, 1971 and was brought up in Marin City, California. He dealt drugs for some of his life until he got into rapping and made his first album 2Pacalypse Now. Dr. Dre produced his album and made him a star. Tupac was in a movie, Above the Rim and also the movie Juice. There was lots of controversy over his albums and he was also in court a few times during his life. Almost all of these cases were dismissed. Tupac Shakaur led a hard and famous life up until his death on September 8, 1996 when he was gunned down in Las Vegas. Tupac died that day but he lived on to be a legend.
Tupac, the main character, was depicted very well in this book because it was an autobiography and it focused on him. He was generous but also made somebad decisions during his life but if he hadn't, he might not be where he is today. Tupac Shakaur is now a legend that many people still believe is alive.

Summary: What is true?
Review: What is the truth? Will anyone ever know? But i do know one thing. People have been sayin that TuPac is still alive. I don't believe it! But from what people have been saying I am starting t obelieve it. For example, they have said that in his funeral the cascet wasn't open. So they don't believe he was in it. And this is important: THIS IS THE 7TH YEAH THAT TUPAC HAS BEEN DEAD! And the law says that if u fake ur death for 7 years and then show up, u won't get arrested/in trouble. And how is it, that this is the 7th year and this movie came out this year. How would this come out after he is dead. So part of me believes that he is still alive. And when the book says that he was cremated, how do we know that, that is true. So the other part of me doesn't believe anything that is being said. That's it! I'M OUT!
