Summary: The Late Great
Review: the book is a great way to sum up the late great Tupac Amaru Shakur. the book is one of the best books i've ever read. it shows you (the reader) how Tupac was not only a rapper but also a poet, artist, and an all around influence on any community. i have always been a Tupac fan but this book bought me closer to him. i can relate to his life's struggle because i've been there and just knowing that i'm not alone makes me feel better. long live the greatest love Baby

Review: There are no words to describe the unique life of Tupac Shakur. Even though he died at a very young age, he still managed to live a life that's as rich and diverse as his personality. This book allows the reader to take a glance at Tupac's life and his thoughts. Unlike other Tupac books out there, this one takes a different approach. It doesnt feature several people who knew Tupac talking about him. On the contrary, it has Tupac talking about Tupac himself accompanied with many, never before seen pictures. There are photos that any Tupac fan has seen before as well as some very personal family pictures and snapshots of everyday Tupac. I have read a lot of Tupac books and trust me when I tell you THIS IS IT. Ever wondered what it would be like if you were at Pac's house and his mom was showing you the family photo album? With this book not only you will be able to experience that but at the same time you will get an access at Tupac's thoughts accompanying every page. This is the life of a man who rose from the ashes of ghetto life, who became a superstar rapper, critically acclaimed actor, wondefully touching poet and finally to us true fans, nothing short of a LEGEND. Summary: great companion to the movie
Review: this book is a great companion to the movie because it shows pictures and examples of the way tupac was, as to the guy that blindly criticized tupac for not doing anything for the community...tupac started a program where he had a concert in different ghettos periodically all over the country, bringing in snoop dogg, and dr. dre, and other fellow rappers so the less priviliged could see them performed, he also gave money to these ghettos by some of the foundations he started to try to build all the ghettos up, if u think im just saying this, you can research it, he did more for the slums than any rapper has ever done, that is why he gets so much respect, not to mention the way that he led countless rallies against the government because he felt that they werent doing enough to make the streets better, this is the reason that dan quayle criticized tupac.....so there is plenty of reasons that tupac is so respected by everyone, and the book is a great walkthrough of his life through tupac's eyes

Review: This book is EXCELLENT! If Tupac were here to tell the story from his eyes I believe it would be close to the words spoken throughout the book. Looking at the pictures, it made me sad, seeing him as a bright, talented, black male who is no longer here today. Tupac, was really misunderstood in my opionion. I do believe he had a strong faith in the Lord vs. what everybody else says because God is mentioned a few times throughout the book. And I feel his pain.

Summary: Introspective Look into Tupac's Life
Review: This book is the most personal and in depth piece of work about the late rapper Tupac Shakur. The childhood photos and drafts of us poetry enable the reader to understand Tupac as a person, not a rap star. This publication allows one to discover and explore the life of the artist throughout the journey of his life and the hardship challenges he faced during that time. This is an excellent read for not just soley fans of Tupac but anyone who's interested in knowing more about who Tupac really was and what he stood for. I highly recommend this book, hands down. It's top notch!

Review: Tupac Amaru Shakur was the enigmatic Rap artist known for the "Thug Life" tattoo on his abdomen and songs in praise of strong women, such as his mother ("Dear Mama"). He was a paradoxical display of machismo and sensitivity that many consider to have been the greatest Rap artist of all time. Tragically, his life was cut short in a hail of bullets in 1996.
