Summary: A "must-read" for the growing legions of Bruce Campbell fans
Review: If Chins Could Kill: Confessions Of A B Movie Actor was energetically written by Bruce Campbell, "King of the B Movies," in his own words. You will find no pretensions or high-grand society airs here; Campbell candidly dishes out the raw deal straight, with irreverent humor and biting verve. Black and white photographs with witty, quotable captions pepper this tremendously entertaining autobiography. If you've ever enjoyed (or at least tolerated) a B-movie, then If Chins Could Kill is a "must-read" for the growing legions of Bruce Campbell fans!!

Summary: Campbell hits the mark
Review: I NEVER read Hollywood bios, but I picked this book up on a fluke on my campaign for light reading fare to temper the monotany of a 14 hour flight to Shanghai....I could not put this book down. I am sure that I anoyed my fellows travelers with my side splitting, muffled laughter. I am not a film maker, nor involved in the entertainment industry, but I found Campbells work to be very enjoyable with the right balance of advice for hopeful actors/directors/producers and the silly/dry wit that is his hallmark. Highly recommended.

Summary: Let the chin's have it!!!
Review: Since I saw Evil Dead on video back in the 80's I've been a big Bruce Campbell fan. When I heard he wrote an autobiography I thought, "What an arrogant son of a (such-n-such) to write his own biography and at a young age too!" Of course I bought it. It is a true autobiography but Bruce comes off as a very hard working, likable and "real" guy. His body of work speaks for itself and insight into the more popular aspects of it are well worth the trip. Also a great book for understanding the difficulty in making an independent film. The great thing about this book is that it is for the fans and Bruce ensures that you (the fan) knows it.

Summary: Not just for "Deadites"!
Review: Only being a Bruce Campbell/Army of Darkness fan for 5 short years, I have come to be a crazed follower. I knew that I had to have the book no matter what any reviewers said. Well, I ordered it, and have read it more than once, and plan to read it again. Bruce's wit along with things that could only happen to him, make this a winner. Even if you have never seen the 3 "Dead" movies, or watched him on Xena, Hercules or Brisco County Jr., you will want to read this if you enjoy humor mixed with real life. After all, real life is more funny anyway!

Summary: Awesome Book
Review: This was such a great autobiography. Its not another cheesy sotry about the life of some well known star. Thats too boring. This book is interesting because Bruce Campbell is not a big star, and he provides such an interesting angle on the Hollywood scene. The book really gets good when he describes some hilarious incidents involving his friends. It had me laughing out loud on so many occasions.

Summary: The Campbell Charm Shines Through..
Review: At first glance you would expect the words to be written in red crayon and scribbled all over the page, because let's face it, this is Bruce Campbell..this guy has been in feature film after feature film, and hundreds of sam raimi's half baked ideas to take over the television industry, but for some reason he has never really made anything of himself..sure he has a website with clever graphics, but so does hello kitty..actually hello kitty remembers to shave before public appearances. Honestly though, nobody would know who bruce campbell is if it wasn't for all those horrible television and movie parts he shemped his way through..but this book tells a decent story, of a kid growing up in michigan with a great childhood full of all the wonder one would wish for growing up..it leads on to his entire life as a struggling actor and how he handled and felt about things going on around him. All in all, it is a great book, and nobody is more surprised that bruce didn't brisco this up like he's done to everything else that has been handed to him in life. There's even an email from me on pages 48 - 49 detailing those warm fuzzy feelings of disgust i felt when i'd see him thinking he was a bigshot and needed to be reminded that he's the same as the rest of us. I hope you buy and read this book, because it is worth your time and your money. Few things in life actually improve how we feel about ourselves and life by bringing us into a place where we can feel the wonder of being a child again, but this is one of them, and you will not regret it.

Summary: The cover speaks for itself.
Review: You may be looking at this review to help you figure out if you should buy this book...Ask yourself this question. How do you feel just looking at the picture of it? Yeah, you know your going to buy the book anyway but here you go. Bruce envokes more laughs, giggles, and smiles per page than any other bio I have ever read. This book keeps you turning pages like a good suspense novel. You learn things that you never knew before no matter how much of a Bruce Fan you are. One of my favorite chapters involves Bruce and a fox...Wait a second I'm not going to tell you. Buy the book and find out. You'll thank me later.

Summary: Great Book!
Review: I am a HUGE Bruce Campbell fan, and was delighted to know he had written his own autobiography (so many actors have help writing theirs). I read the book and loved it. It's a must have for any Bruce Campbell fan. Tons of info and tons of pictures, at least one every couple of pages. I highly recomend it.

Summary: If chins could kill, you'd die laughing!
Review: This book is hilarious! Bruce Campbell's dry, witty humor only leaves you wanting more... I laughed myself into a crying stupor, reading Bruce's childhood stories - absolute gems! - At some point I just had to stop reading, because I could not read another line, without bursting into fits of laughter, tears streaming down my face....

There's in-depth information on the Evil Dead trilogy - everything you could possibly want to know, without even realising it! The stuff these guys put each other through...

And then of course, there's Bruce's quirky anecdotes, personal dictionary type explanations and drawings and emails sent to him by (in some cases deranged) fans.

This is one of the most refreshing books you will read about the Hollywood industry and it will most certainly make you laugh - after all, isn't that why you're a fan?

Summary: Chins Rule!!!!!!!
Review: This book is the best book I have ever read. A definite must have for any Bruce Campbell fan, or even your average movie buff. There is so much great information in here, and Bruce just brings that good old tone that makes you laugh at the poor shmucks he's picked on in the past. I mean really, how can you resist a chin like that? A completely impressive and down-to-earth display of Campbell's knowledge of what he so affectionatly calls, "Blue-Collar Hollywood". Great book, and great reading. I didn't want to put it down!!!!! I definitly, with much enthusiasm, recommend this one!!!!!
