Summary: Imaginary Friends
Review: They are our imaginary friends, these radio people; voices that we grow up with, cling to, are entertained, enchanted and comforted by. We don't really want to meet them because we know they can never live up to the ideal we have crafted of their voices and our imagination. How extraordinary, then, to read a book by such a person and find out that Jonathan Schwartz is not only everything we imagined, but so much more.

Summary: all in good time
Review: This book is so moving and also funny. It's really beautifully written. My friend Max told me that Jonathan had written a book. We always listen to him on the air. This a a 5 star book, no question.

Summary: Unique Memoir
Review: This is a superbly written and extrememly unique memoir. The read is never quite sure if it is a fiction or non fiction due to the style of writing. I like that. I can easily see why this book: "All In Good Time" is climbing the charts. I am also pleased that I had the chance to read this powerful book!! "All In Good Time reads similar to that of "My Fractured Life", with pieces of the sadness, courage and determination found in "Nightmares Echo"...It also has poignant lessons learned like that of "Running With Scissors". All are different and unique and yet, Memoirs with power.

Summary: As great on paper as he is on radio!
Review: This is a terrific book...warm, sad, interesting, funny. I have listened to Jonathan Schwartz on the radio since 1967 and his WNEW-FM days. But you don't have to be a fan of his from the radio to appreciate this fine memoir. Jonathan includes touching stories about his father--the incredible composer Arthur Schwartz--as well as his mother, his witch of a stepmother, and his own complex relationships, including with Frank Sinatra.
Great read.
