Summary: A big hit with my kids
Review: My children received this book as a gift, and we read it before listening to the CD. I thought the illustrations were very good, and the stories were interesting, but once we played the CD--we were hooked. My girls, ages 6 and 4, loved looking at the book as they sang along, even though the 4-year old can't read yet.
The songs have a way of creeping into your sub-conscious, and several times, my husband laughed at me as he realized that I was humming "Mmh, berry pie" or "Hey, Wee Willie Winkie, yes we're sound asleep." I plan on buying this book to give as a birthday present to some of my daughter's friends. Well done!
