Summary: A great book
Review: I'm 13 years old and after reading this book I was able to hypnotize someone on my first try. This book was very helpful and actually helped me pass my science class.

Summary: I have bought 4 books so far and I like this one the most.
Review: If you want to get started in hypnosis without all the long history discusion and just want to get busy trying it. This book is more helpfull in actually learning the art of hypnosis than the other ones I bought. It is an easy read. Its interesting. It gets to the point without missing anything important or any important ideas. I have only read half the book and I love it. Its the book i was looking for to start off with but ended up bying 4th. So I will buy more books but i first have to hypnotis somebody. Dont belive any bad reviews you read. your sure to like this book if your a beginer and are wanting to get started right away. Of course hypnosis needs a deep understanding to be really good at and therefore you will want to purchase many books on the sugject to ever consider yourself an expert.

Review: IT IS THE KIND OF BOOK YOU CAN'T PUT DOWN. I FOUND IT VERY INFORMATIVE ON THE SUBJECT. MY FRIENDS WERE AMUSSED BY ENVENING OF FUN WE HAD WITH IT.I'VE ORDERED SEVERAL FOR FRIENDS AS GIFTS.

Summary: Hours that I'll never have back...
Review: Just finished reading this trash... I mean, this book.
Poorly written, with no usefull information at all.
I reached the last pages with no hope, I didn't expect it to get any better, but I didn't thought it could get any worse, well folks, it DID get worse! On the last paragraph the author confesses: "... there is no Professor Svengali. That's my stage name... I live in New Jersey with my wife and two children. This isn't even my picture. It's from a royalty-free stock photography CD I bought for $49.95"
After this the only thing left to do is curse this lame author and recommend everyone NOT to buy this book.

Summary: Fun? Well...perfect your skills first
Review: Just like any how to book, this one also has its conditions. Yes you can hypnotise someone, no doubt, but hypnotism is not as easy as ONE, TWO, THREE. Like any type of skill it needs to be practiced, practiced and practiced. Don't expect to read the book and go out and hypnotise someone, it really doesn't work like that and anyone that tells you any different is a fool. Don't believe me? Just ask a licensed hypnotherapist.

Summary: Don't fall for the hoopla
Review: Maybe if you can get your "subject" to stop laughing at you. Maybe if you can get over the cheesey wording and stop laughing yourself. Maybe, just maybe, this might work. Until I see someone use this book live on me or someone I know, I shall cling to my doubts about the effectiveness of the teachings in this book. If you really, really desire to read it..maybe you should check it out at your library and save the money.

Summary: Well constructed, the best beginner book out there
Review: Of all the books I have read this is one of the better and most simple books out there. It covers all aspects from setup, induction to sample show material. Definately worth the price. It comes with lots of practical points to remember.If you know all the basic stuff then this book won't help you

Summary: First Try and it WORKS! A Must buy book!
Review: Thats right my first try after reading this book, and it works. It only took me about an hour or so to read the book and my first and second subjects I tried hypnosis on were completly under my control. The first thing I tried was to have my subject for get his last name, and then to forget his first name. With a quick snap of my fingers the subject he was awake and unable to remember which ever part of his name I had told him to forget no matter how hard he tried he just couldnt say it! This book is very very good, easy to read and understand. This is the first book that I have read on hypnosis and at first I was really wondering if I could really do it, but when it came time for me to try I had no problem at all having my subject give in to any command I gave him. This is a must for parties, or anywere. Its very fun to perform and a really good way to help people relive stress. After my first and second subjects were awakend from there hypnotic state they were in a really good mood with nothing on there mind but relacation. If you buy any book make it this one!
