If you don't believe the praise, visit your local library and read just the first few pages -- I can guarantee you'll be racing to pick up your own copy... and when done, you'll feel grateful you did as well. After years in the industry, I continue to praise this work, and refer to it often when guiding others in the industry... This book is a definite Must Have on very single bookshelf...

Summary: OBVIOUS AND SENSATIONALISTIC
Review: Of course it is essential to be informed about this and any industry in which one plans to become involved. But this book is intended to be sensational, to scare poor parents into fearing for their daughter's (or son's) safety and psychological health. All good parents already fear this. Some step-by-step instruction and real information on how to find your place in the industry, how to deal with agents and clients and sensible advice on communicating effectively with your teenager (who wants to model) would be far more helpful
