Review: The fact of the matter is that IMAGE CONTROL is the ONLY mass marketed book that deals directly with the subject of motion picture lab techniques. And it does provide a solid basic introduction - as it does with all the other subjects of discussion pertaining to the art of cinematography explored in this book. Excellent photos, good examples, a great introductory book. But for those of us looking for more in-depth information. . . sadly enough, you're not going to find it here. Any shooters out there reading this - Lab techniques are an area that have been shrouded in mystery for too long - somebody give Bob Richardson a book contract!
