Summary: Good reference but something missing
Review: It covers a lot of things that a neophyte producer might not think of but it doesn't cover a few things that I would've expected. One thing- it doesn't mention anything about forming an LLC (Limited Liability Company) in relationship to producing theater and there's almost no coverage of negotiating an "enhanced" production with an existing non-profit and commercial venture which I believe is the way that many new plays and musicals are developed and first presented.

Perhaps that's more sophisticated then the author intended but that's what I was hoping to get some insight into. I suppose I'll have to spend a lot of money on a lawyer instead!
