Review: As a casting director casting hundreds of commercials a year and many theatrical projects, I recommend this to all actors. This is one of the best full spectrum books to come out in a long time, and every actor I know who has read it highly values the information it provides.

Review: Ever since I tore through this book, I've been recommending it to all aspiring actors that I know, whether they plan to move to L.A. or not. Judy Kerr answered every question that I had or had never thought to ask about the "Industry." The best quality about this book is that it's completely down-to-earth, as well as up to date.

Summary: A phenominal guide for a successful acting career
Review: I am an actress who recently moved to LA from Seattle (a tiny market compared to LA). Judy's book provided me with invaluable information - preparing me for what to expect, what to do, where to look for a 'day' job, and this is only the beginning. After having the same hairstylist in Seattle for 3 years, her book even led me to someone in LA I could trust to cut my hair.This is the most comprehensive book on building an acting career that I have ever read. The information contained in this book, is, in and of itself, worth 100 times the cost. It is true, there are lots of books out there that do provide information, but the personal quality Judy gives her book is what really makes it. The tone throughout is positive, and supportive. You feel like she really wants you to succeed in this business! I find something new and helpful at least once a week in "Acting is Everything". I highly recommend this book to all, whether you are a working professional, or someone who is mildly interested in getting involved in acting.

Summary: Most complete acting book ever!
Review: I am so impressed! I have never read a more complete book on making it as an actor in LA. Not only does this book include advice on what to do to succeed as an actor, it also gives you the resources to do it. Plus, now I'm so excited about all the classes and organizations and things to do once I get to LA. I'm having trouble containing my enthusiasm, for what's going to be a long 6 months of saving up money to come to LA :(. This book is going to be with me wherever I go, and I bet it's going to save me a lot of mistakes and heartaches. With Judy's book in hand, success is only a page away.

I was lost in L.A. until I bought this book. She has LIFETIMES of knowledge and connections wrapped up for you to read/resource. My friends who have been at the acting game for years and years know much less than me after only a month. Judy has every tool a motivated actor needs to be successful in this book. Everything is current with incredible web-sites, phone numbers, resources, groups and written word from true professionals in the busines. Thank you Judy, you have saved me time, energy, money, frustration and given me confidence to achieve my goals. Knowing what what I know now after reading most of the book, I would have spent thousands for this knowledge.

Summary: Super Excellent, not only for L.A.
Review: I find this book very useful. I don't live, nor plan to go to L.A.. I live in Miami and work for the spanish speaking market, and the information Judy provides in this book, is unbelievable. What I did was to apply the tips and information she gives, to my city. I had to do a little research for my area, but who cares if the spirit of the book is what counts. I can't believe that someone took the time to do all the research Judy Kerr did, talk to all those people, compiled all those materials. After you read the book you will see that she didn't do this for the money, but for love of the art. If she does everything like this book, I supose she must be a profesional in the whole sense. I recommend this book for the working actors and the serious aspiring actors. If you are not serious I advice you not to read this book, because after you finish it, you won't have an excuse to don't finding a job in acting . Thank you Judy for this Book
