Rating: Summary: A Poorly Written Book... Review: The Author Mr. Page has commited a grave injustice to the people of Gascony Armagnac France. I say this because in trying to read his book he has some kind of sarcastic remark on every single page of this book. Then he puts words into the people of Armagnac's mouth by saying things like, "They only sell second rated Armagnacs to Americans and they keep the best only for themselves and even that the people of Cognac now own a lot of Armagnac and only sell to the market the low end stuff." Mr. Page cannot see past the veil that he is wearing over his head. The veil's name is etiquette. The definition of etiquette is, "Accepted norms of a polite society." So according to Page it's socially acceptable to assume that the best Armagnacs are not for sell. How absurd. I do not recommend this book to any Armagnac enthusiasts. I understand how hard it is to find an Armagnac book, however, unfortunately, this book isn't the answer so keep looking...Regards Frank...
