Review: About six years ago I was given this cookbook as a gift. Over the years I have used many of its recipes and it is one of my favorites. Her other volume is another one of my favorites. The best-loved recipes in this volume are for her beer bread, meat loaf (it will change your mind about meat loaf!), hot buttered rum, and pumpkin chiffon pie. There are recipes for appetizers, drinks, desserts, breads, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This cookbook has made an amazingly positive impact on my meals. Many of her recipes include suggestions for matching side dishes, main courses, wines and desserts. If you're looking for interesting and delicious recipes, this is the book you want.
