Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Many easy recipes
Review: I have tried several recipes in this book and I was pleased with the results of each one! I especially liked the hints and the recipes using simple ingredients, such as the Applesauce Recipe and the Cheesy Toast Sticks recipe.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Very unsophisticated cooking
Review: If you like to cook with canned soup, Tater Tots and Biscuit, then this is the cookbook for you. Unfortunately, that is not my style. To each her own--but buyer beware.

Summary: Great variety! Good family food
Review: Wow! This cookbook has such a nice variety of recipes. My family especially liked the Beef and Taco Bake and also the Beef Barbeque Sandwiches (made from leftover roast and slow simmered to mouthwatering perfection). We also liked many of the cookie recipes - Champion cookies, Happy Kid Cookies. Also appreciated the icing recipes - sure beats canned frosting. It's a nice mixture of super easy, super fast recipes and recipes that are still easy and fast but more involved. Oh, yes, we really like the French Toast Casserole. That came out like something from a gourmet restaurant.
