Rating: Summary: Good try, but not totally successful Review: I found that many of the wheat-free recipes didn't bake up with much 'oomph' in my bread machine. They were dense, hard, and sometimes overcooked on the outside/raw in the middle. When I tried to bake the doughs in regular pans in the oven, I often misjudged the correct baking temperature. There are better bread machine books out there, and many Internet sites contain spelt, rice and other non-wheat bread recipes.
