Summary: I finally had success with wrap making
Review: I have been trying for the last several months to make tortillas/wraps by hand. They have always come out too dry no matter how moist my dough was. They broke down the middle when folded and were cracked around the edges. The techniques in Vickilynn's book have changed all that. I made the Tangy Tomato Wraps and the Southwestern Black Bean Wraps last night and they came out just beautifully. They were delicious too. I highly recommend this book if you want to learn to make wraps by hand or with a press and have them turn out like store bought ones. Your family will thank you for it.

Summary: NUTRITIOUS as well as DELICIOUS!
Review: I have tried many, many recipes from this book and every one has become a family "keeper". This book takes you from the basics of choosing quality ingredients and making dough to cooking, filling and using the many unique and flavorful wraps in recipes. This book contains recipes for an assortment of traditional "tortilla" type wraps, wraps for those with special dietary needs (i.e. gluten or wheat-free) and traditional whole grain wraps. Vickilynn (who is well-known for her knowledge of whole-foods cooking and healthful living) goes on to share dozens of unique and original recipes, all using all whole grains and exciting wholesome ingredients like beans, vegetables, fruits and spices. You will find recipes for deliciously versatile Sweet Potato Wraps, wonderfully spicey Southwestern Black Bean Wraps and even some decadent dessert wraps. These healthy, whole-grain wraps have become a staple in our busy household!

Summary: A Must-Have for Quick, Healthy Eating!
Review: I've made my share of homemade whole wheat tortillas by hand, and all were as pliable as formica and shaped like the ink-blot pictures you see TV psychiatrists using! Using the directions from "Wrap It Up", my tortillas are soft, round and oh so delicious! But this is only one reason that I find "Wrap It Up" to be a must-have in my kitchen. Eating healthy and cooking quickly are important in our family, and the recipes in "Wrap It Up" make this possible. In a matter of minutes, I can make a batch of Flat Bagel Wraps, or Garlic Herb Wraps, for example, and have warm, fresh bread for a quick meal. I don't need to rely on my old standards of egg salad or peanut butter to fill them, either, with over 25 recipes for either fillings or entrees using the wraps included in the book. I especially like the fact that there are no "exotic" ingredients required for these recipes - I can make virtually any of the recipes without having to run to the store first. If quick, healthy cooking is what you're striving for, a copy of "Wrap It Up" will help you meet your goal in a most delicious way.

Summary: Wrap It Up!
Review: To anybody who hasn't tried Vickilynn's wrap recipes, they are WONDERFUL. (This from a person who could never get the hang of making tortillas until I followed the instructions that are in this book). These are so fast, so easy, so yummy..... We have a large family and a busy farm, and most "fun" and unusual recipes are out of reach for us because of the amount of time it takes to make something for a family of 10. Not these. My 11-y-o daughter and I made an assembly line and made two triple batches in an hour. We don't work fast, either. My family is now addicted.

Summary: See Why You Need One More Cookbook!
Review: Wraps are becoming very popular these days, and now Vickilynn Haycraft makes it possible for you to make them at home! Vickilynn covers everything you would ever want to know about making wraps. She gives very thorough directions for making them by machine or by hand AND includes extra tips for storing, freezing, and reheating the wraps as well. Making a big batch of these and sticking them in the freezer makes entertaining a breeze later on. Everyone loves wraps!! But not only that, this book is packed with recipes for fillings. Some are traditional, but many are very unique and fun to say the least! Vickilynn's recipes will appeal to meat-eaters and to vegetarians, to those who love "home-cooking" and to those who prefer international tastes. Moms will also find this book full of "kid-pleasers" as well! One of the things I like most about this book is that Vickilynn has created all her recipes with health in mind, but does not sacrifice taste in doing so. The recipes work, and they are good! I highly recommend Wrap It Up!!
