Summary: Review of Vedic Cuisine by Beverly Simmons
Review: Straightforward...simple...easy to follow...no frills guide to ayurvedic cooking..... I am a novice in ayurvedic studies. Many of the books I have looked at seem too complicated. This is such a well-done book that you can pick it up, go directly to the store, shop for produce, spices and herbs, take everything home, prepare your recipe and present the dish for dinner even to guests! I found 'Vedic Cuisine' on the kitchen table at my friend's house. She has been practicing Ayurveda for several years. It is her favorite reference book!
