Review: I have been working in the design field for over 10 years now and I have yet to see a worse ripp off then this author not only are there no directions to her projects, but who would want to engage them selves in anything that turned out so chic and cheesey. I have personally met the author and her family I knew them for quite a while infact and never did I find that she could creatively enhance a project. she has some small skill in putting together junk so it doesn't look so much like junk. butlets face it - it's still junk. not something I would put in my house nor in my clients homes.

Summary: Shower Fanatic
Review: The book has beautiful pictures & ideas however it is not reaslistic for the average person. There are no recipes or menu ideas. The instructions for favors and decorations are minimal. Not worth the money. Everything I got from this book, I could easily get off the web.

Summary: reader from Minnesota
Review: This is a beautifully displayed book. It has wonderful pictures of each theme idea, something that is rarely found in baby shower/bridal shower idea books. I found the beautiful pictures very helpful in sparking creativity. It is, however, very short on directions and actual party throwing ideas. It doesn't really tell you how to get from point A to point B. I think it would be more appropriately named "Decorating for the Perfect Shower". It is a book that I will cherish having in my personal library and could see myself returning to for visual ideas, but I do not think I would recommend it to anyone else as a practical guide when throwing a shower.
