Review: I bought the book because of the mouth-watering looking ribbon cookies on the cover, so that was the first recipe I tried when I got my copy.
I was disappointed, first of all because the dough wasn't easy to handle at all, and the end result was a bland tasting cookie, a little dry even. I tried the spritz cookies as well and wasn't thrilled with those either.It is a great looking book, full of wonderful pictures, but the results don't live up to the presentation in my opinion. I'll stick to Nick Malgieri from now on!
