Summary: Country cooking indeed -- some hard to find favorites
Review: Does contain lots of traditional favorites (including tips on basics such as stock, pickling, etc.) such as Chicken and Dumplings Stew, Deep Dish Chicken Pie, Tuna Noodle Bake, ye old jello molds, puddings, potato salads, newburgs, pickled eggs, anddeep dish apple pie. No shopping trips to special grocery stores. Nice, hardbound edition with color photos, 92 pages plus index.

One drawback: no nutrition information (unless I just managed to overlook).
