Review: CENTER TOWNSHIP, PA - Nadine (Zernich) Ujevich, 76, of Center Township, passed away suddenly, Sunday, Jan. 18, 2004, in the Aliquippa Community Hospital.Born July 13, 1927, in Aliquippa, a daughter of the late Steve and Milka "Nellie" (Tatalovich) Zernich, she was a member of St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church, Aliquippa. Nadine was a 1945 graduate of Aliquippa High School and a 1949 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, completing her Masters of Education in 1952. She was formerly employed at Aliquippa Elementary School and Aliquippa High School as a health and physical education teacher and was the author of the "College Survival Cookbook." She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Milo Ujevich; a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Mark and Renee Ujevich, Imperial; a daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Tom Bellhy, McDonald, Pa.; 10 grandchildren, Mark, Matt, Carley, Michael and Casey Ujevich; Zach, Nate, Beka, Rachel and Tina Bellhy; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Dr. Stephen and Frances Zernich, Dr. Wallace and Josephine Zernich and Dr. Michael and Vicki Zernich, all of Center Township, and many loving nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins. Nadine will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and a proud grandmother. She will be sadly missed.
