Review: I had read this author's wine and food criticism over several years, but some of it was intended for people more sophisticated about wine than I am. Here he uses his knowledge to speak directly to those of us who are sometimes puzzled by what wine to choose for a particular dish prepared at home or in a restaurant. I found especially useful his recommendation of wines at three different price points for each food match. I refer to this book over and over again.
