Rating: Summary: tasty and funny indeed Review: A Taste of Funny is a very enjoyable and fast read that would appeal to "foodies and non-foodies" alike. Not only did I find Ms. Dorfman to have a delightful sense of humor, the book is also filled with interesting and obscure facts regarding various foods. We learn about the "caveat emptor" (buyer beware) when purchasing bottled water. We learn how to avoid crying tears while peeling onions. I laughed out loud while reading the article about the giant lobster.
The conclusion page notes that the articles are meant to amuse and distract from the stress of everyday life. Ms. Dorfman clearly accomplished her goal.
Buy the book...you won't regret it.
