Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Easiest Ever Cookery
Review: Have you ever been hungry, but thought there was nothing in your pantry or fridge to make? If only you owned this book, then this common conundrum would never happen to you again!

Silvana spends the first chapter teaching you how to stock your pantry up cheaply and easily. The rest of the book is full of yummy recipes based on a few easy-to-find ingredients, such as potatoes, onions, bread, and cheddar cheese.

Not surprisingly, out of the dozens of cookbooks I own, this is the one book I find myself turning to weekly.

One warning, the book is exceptionally English, so watch out for different names for things--the infamous "courgette" comes to mind--and for just a few ingredients that are hard to find stateside, such as double cream.
