Review: The emphasis in this cookbook, is on summer foods such as homemade ice cream, strawberry goodies, fresh-from-the-garden vegetable dishes, summer memories and poems with the usual theme being family and friends. "From the Pixy People" by James Whitcomb Riley, and other fun read aloud poems are offered here. The book is delightfully illustrated, in a similiar style to Hopping's other books. Our family enjoys this one.
