Summary: AuntieM
Review: I have MANY cookbooks. I purchased this cookbook at an SDA Campmeeting about 25 years ago and WORE IT OUT!!! The cover had fallen off and I had a TERRIBLE time finally locating whereto buy a new book. When I finally found where to order, I could not push the 'BUY' button fast enough. Every recipe is a wonderful taste treat. Friends who have never tried meatless dishes are shocked at the great flavor. I catered my brothers' wedding and used the Special K Loaf recipe to make 'meatballs' for 1 of the dishes. My uncle commented that' these were the best meatballs he has ever tasted'!!! I replied~~no meat, isn't it great what you can do with cottage cheese and walnuts!!!!

Summary: The best vegetarian cookbook of all time!
Review: This cookbook has all the basic recipes for making tasty meatless entrees, high in protein and so delicious. Everything from bean burgers to cashew cheese spread, from egg & cheese ingredients to dairy free recipes. There is everything you could want in this book. And all the recipes are simple. Some of the seasonings may be hard-to-find, but you could ask at health food stores, or you could just substitute your own seasonings. But most of the ingredients are very basic. One of my favorite recipes are the pecan meatballs made from pecan meal, cheese and eggs. If you use these meatballs in stroganoff or spaghetti, you will think you have died and gone to heaven!
