Granted, it is a changed with a new lifestyle, but the recipes are very easy, the book is very well done, and I would recomend this to everyone who would like some new ideas for vegan cooking.
Rating: Summary: Meat is good! Review: The recipes in this cookbook were terrible, i have been thinking of going vegan for a long time, but this book reaffirms why I eat meat... because vegetables aren't that tasty, no matter what you do with them.
Rating: Summary: The Guilt-Free Gourmet Review: This book was just what I was looking for! Delicious recipes and easy to prepare. Rating: Summary: Great Book/Resource Review: This is one of my favorite vegan cookbooks, although, if you order more then one from Amazon, don't believe the delivery date!! If you're ready to make a life-style change, eat more wholesome foods, and are seeking a life-style of wellness (mentally, physically, and spiritually),then get this book. It not only has vegan recipes, but also shares Biblical counsel regarding health principals, 24 health tips/helps, nutritional analysis, menu planners, and a shopping list of necessary items to make your kitchen a cholesterol-free zone.If you are just starting your adventure in vegan cooking, or have been at it awhile, include this great resource in your kitchen. Vicki Griffin has written other books and co-authored two programs that are excellent. "Simple Solutions" and "Food for Thought". Check with a Seventh Day Adventist church in your area to see if they are conducting one of these programs and attend if possible. Two other great sources of information and "hands-on" learning. Along with support of others who are seeking a healthier life....
