Review: I picked this book up when I was looking for a good French toast recipie and I was pleasanly surprised at how great this book is! It's a classic! The idea of this book is to take classic American favorites and put a different spin on them. I just know that every recipie in this easy-to-use book is better than the next. The author has the usual catagories for soups, appetizers, fish, meats, etc., but the tidbits of helpful info on the borders of each recipie are great. Each recipie comes with menu suggestions, as well, which is really helpful. I can't think of a single person I know who can't use this terrific book. Buy one for a cook you love!
