Rating: Summary: Classic Recipes Review: Fortunately, this is not another Betty Crocker book; the word margarine is never mentioned. These are classic cookie recipes. Each cookie is beautifully photographed; its recipe states the level of difficulty and preparation time (it always takes me longer). My only regret is that the book is not larger.

Rating: Summary: A waste of $8. Review: The book jacket claims to "share the secrets of the Cordon Bleu's famous kitchens." Hardly. Since when are Toll House cookies a secret special recipe? There are no special techniques taught and the cookie recipes are readily available in any cooking magazine or even in your grandmother's Good Housekeeping cookbook. A better alternative would be Rose Levy Beranbaum's cookie book or ANY other cookbook!
