Summary: A MUST for all cookie bakers!
Review: I just purchased this cookie cookbook and it is great! It is as good (if not better) than her first book "Wild, Wild West Cookies". Tuda Libby Crews has done it again! This cookie cookbook is full of wonderful decorating tips and scrumptious recipies! It has easy to follow directions that even beginners can make beautiful cookies. The book also includes a section of Tuda Libby Crews' story of growing up in the 1950s. An added "perk" to the book. It makes people (who were growing up in the 50s) reminisce a bit. I love it and look forward to her next book.

Review: This book represents Tuda Libby Crews' second cookie cookbook. Her first, Wild Wild West Cowboy Cookies was a huge hit. This book features cookies and designs reminiscent of the 1950's and includes juke boxes, poodle skirts, burgers and fries, malts and classic cars. Decorating cookies to this theme makes for an impressive collection sure to please anyone interested in the era and will make for great fun at any party. Tuda also tells her tale of growing up in New Mexico during this period, it is a warm and touching collection of stories. The photography is impressive, the recipes are delicious, the instructions and tips are easy to understand and the book features an order form to purchase the cookie cutters featured in the book (including some custom shapes not available anywhere else)! If you buy this book you will really love it. I feel confident this is a very strong follow-up to her first book and will provide readers great entertainment and will result in producing cookies that will be the envy of all of your creative baking friends. I have known Tuda all my life (mostly because she is my mother) and she is a creative powerhouse who is able to share her talents with others through her writing. Enjoy!
