There are gorgeous pictures of many of the wineries and information on dining at the ones that have a cafe or restaurant. A dozen noted wine connoisseurs--the author included--each provide a list of top recommendations for purchasing wines. Finally, the text and photographs are beautifully presented on high quality paper. The Finger Lakes Book: A Complete Guide also covers wineries in the region, but if a major focus of your trip is visiting the wineries,you will find this guide to be by far the most informative resource.
