Summary: Essential Desserts?
Review: They broke down each chapter into specific types of desserts. Decent selection and explanation of desserts. However, most of the recipes are well known (nothing original) or outdated recipes (very 70's and 80's). Good cheese cakes(tasty) but they should of left out several of the chapters, i.e. the jelly/jello mould chapter (waste of space). Overall, easy to follow recipes, nice pictures -view it as an extra book to have on hand when you want a quick dessert. Not the type of book to wow or impress friends and family.
