Summary: A Great Book
Review: It's about time somebody came out with a decent ice cream dessert book that cuts out the hassle of making the ice cream from scratch. For me, there are too many wonderful ice cream products and flavors available to waste the time and the mess doing it myself. I particularly like the ideas for molded layered desserts, and the sauces to go with them. Already wowed the crowd at a dinner party last week!
Highly recommend this book.

Summary: A Forever Summer Book for Cooks and Armchair Travelers
Review: Lori's book is full of inspiration! Her recipes are easy and sophisticated, and the results I've had have been visually dazzling, too! I love all the mini-histories, anecdotes and international flavors she's included along with hundreds of facts, tips and mini-recipes. I'll be making ice-cream desserts all year long now!

Summary: Kids will love this book
Review: My 12 year old son was given this book as a present. He loved looking at all the recipes and made me a spectacular ice-cream soda using the recipe from this book. It cleared up for me the difference between an ice-cream soda/float and all the options for the best use of store bought ice-cream. I highly recommend the book as a present for pre-teens and also for adults.

Summary: Ice Cream for All
Review: This book is terrific! You'll never be at a loss for a dessert idea again. The flavor combinations are fantastic, incredibly creative and ideal for both adults and children. I made a Meringue Ice Cream Cake with the Smooth Strawberry Sauce for my daughter's 5th birthday. It was wonderful, the perfect amount of sweetness, and easy to make. The kids (and the parents) scarfed every crumb.

Summary: Playing with your ice cream!
Review: This is a great book for men who want to prepare a romantic dinner for their women. I'm great with the appetizers and main course but have always depended on a gallon of ice-cream for dessert. I'm a man who has little interest in baking. Dressing-up ice-cream is really the way to go... because it's easy but it shows you care. Thank you Lori!

Summary: Tasty and EASY!
Review: What a treat! This cookbook supplies the best ideas and recipes for creating ice cream desserts that are easy and fun to make. For an impromtu dinner party, I whipped up --unbeknownst to me-- Tin Lizzie Sundaes with Caramel Sauce, to very happy guests. Packed with great tips and imaginative flavor combos, I highly recommend this collection to everyone with a sweet tooth and limited time in the kitchen.

Summary: THE ICE CREAM DOCTOR HAS ARRIVED!
Review: Wowee! I love this delicious looking book. Lori Longbotham (author of Luscious Lemon Desserts) proves she is the queen of all desserts. There are so many wonderful sounding sweets in this great book (150 in all) it's hard to know where to begin-- but I'd start with the Sky-High Layered Ice Cream Cake, chockful of chocolate and hazelnut gelato, nutello--it's so simple yet so sinful (top it with marshmallow sauce, yummo!) Lots and lots of cool iceas so that are so easy even kids could make them (like the Snowballs, ice cream rolled in toasted coconut and drenched in hot chocolate sauce), miniature ice cream bombes and cookie sandwiches, sorbet pops...It made me want to quit my day job and open my own ice cream parlor. Really gorgeous photo and cool looking design--makes a great gift, especially for your friends with their own ice cream makers.
