Summary: great easy recipes !
Review: I've never seen so many recipes for traditional and innovative desserts. Wonderful photographs accompany almost every dessert. The decoration section and its techniques are very easy to understand, and made easy to follow. I am a fan of Andrea Jourdan, and was happy to see that it is one of her numerous translations. It's on my kitchen counter.

Summary: Quite a few errors, but very extensive
Review: This is an extremely extensive cookbook that would be great if it did not contains so many errors. It is frustrating to be sent to a page for a recipe and you are not sure if it is the right recipe. The book continuously references an almond cookie dough in the basic recipes, but there is no dough in the beginning that uses almond!!!. There are other examples of this. There are a few cases where translations were not done, and places where ingredients were not converted, but these are minor problems. There there are places where the amounts of the ingrediants were screwed up. Still very extensive with great ideas for recipes. If there is only one dessert cookbook, this could possibly be it, but I do really like Pierre Herme's recipes.
