Rating: Summary: A GREAT BOOK Review: This is the best book I've read about a restaurant (exept maybe for Kitchen Confidential.) I have worked at a few restaurants like Daniel and this writer really understood the way things really work in a super high-end fine dining establishement.

Rating: Summary: Amazing "documentary" book Review: What a great read! Like Anthony Bourdain, Leslie Brenner takes us behind the scenes in a restaurant, but unlike "Kitchen Confidential," "The Fourth Star" is about people who are passionate about the food they're preparing. And unlike any other book, this one lets us in on how the waiters, maitre d's, sommeliers, and reservationists do their jobs. If a book could somehow be the equivalent of a great documentary film, "The Fourth Star" would be it. Fascinating.
