Rating: Summary: I love this book Review: The Food Processor Bible tells you 10 times more valuable information on how to use your food processor to the fullest than any other instructional books I've found. Once you've read this book you'll be a pro and all of your kitchen chores will be quick and easy. I thought I knew a lot, but I learned so much. The recipes are a delight, and they work. My favorite recipes so far are the Sesame Cheese Straws which are marvelous and the Sticky Chicky which extremely tasty and showy. I really love this book.
Rating: Summary: Disappointed Review: This cookbook is okay. There's lots of Kosher and it's just not for me; maybe not being Jewish is why. Who knows? Jean Anderson has a processor cookbook that really is much better.
Rating: Summary: Excellent all around cookbook Review: This has always been one of my most used cookbooks for the last 20 years. I recently misplaced my old copy and am going out to buy another. Ms. Gilletz recipes are excellent all around (even if you don't have a processor) I use the book for its recipes not necessarily food processor advice. It is also great for kosher recipes. Some reviewers commented that there are not many jewish recipes. She must mean Ethnic. All the recipes are specificaly formulated to not mix ingredients that would render them unkosher to a strictly observant person. You need to be observant to recognize this. Buy this book, you will enjoy it for many years.
Rating: Summary: Great book. Review: This is a great book to have if you have a food processor.
Rating: Summary: Not just for new users Review: This is a great overview book for those who are just becoming familiar with food processors. It is also has a wide variety of recipes for those who are familiar with their machines. The recipes do not call for strange ingredients but many are a pleasant change of pace from your old stand-bys. I really enjoy using my book and it has helped me use my machine to the fullest.
Rating: Summary: Food Processing Made Easy! Review: When I bought my new food processor, I knew I would need help to learn how to use it. So I made a special effort to find this particular book, because Norene Gilletz wrote it! Having already purchased one of her other cookbooks, I knew I would find an abundance of know-how and delicious, simple to make recipes. Norene has the rare knack for explaining everything in her book simply and clearly, from food processing, to terminology, to how to's. It's like having your own private cooking instructor!
