Summary: If this book was a car...
Review: it would be a tan 1982 Dodge K car.
So far the recipes I have tried, and most that I have read, have been some bland stuff. Little taste in most of the recipes, and little to be excited over. I don't see how people could rave over this slop.

Summary: Recipes are mundane
Review: Although there are several recipes in this book are interesting, the manjority are mundane and not very exciting.

It looks like Ms Hall went to the grocery, looked on the back of every package in the store and then bought the products that had recipes on the side of the can or package. She then copied them down and put them in a book

My advice is to pass on buying the book and go yourself the grocery and do the same thing.

Hall's cooking experience and imagination can make treats out of the most familiar foods. Adding fat-free cream cheese, a fat-free butter spread, and skim milk to mashed potatoes, she makes Mashed Potatoes Deluxe. With the addition of a sauce of mustard, fat-free sour cream, and dill weed, spring asparagus becomes especially tasty. Satisfying, filling vegetarian chili is but one other of Hall's recipes among the 240 recipes in her cookbook. Health-conscious individuals, especially ones looking to control or lose weight, could not do better than to turn to Hall's numerous healthful, easy-to-prepare meals. With each recipe, in addition to preparation and ingredients, she notes time to prepare (under 15 minutes in nearly every case) and calories, fat, cholesterol, and sodium. There's recipes for every part of a meal, from appetizers through soups and entrees to desserts. Hall was an aerobic instructor and facilitator for W.O.W. (Watching Our Weight, which holds classes and provides information on a low-fat lifestyle) whose enthusiasm for good health and eating right is inspirational.

Summary: So simple and filled with quick recipes!
Review: Expecting to add this cookbook to our already full boxes of cookbooks, we were wonderfully surprised to find the recipes easy, interesting, tasty, and limited to seven or less ingredients. We were also happy to see that most recipes take twenty minutes or less making dinner preparation quick and easy.

A book for the truly BUSY and LOW-FAT crowd or families with BUSY CHILDREN.

Summary: Very cool! Easy, Quick, lowfat AND great tasting food!
Review: Great for a young person who does not like to cook or spend alot of time in the kitchen because receipes only use a few uncomplicated ingredients, and taste great especially for people who need to loose weight but don't want to give up favorite foods like chicken nuggets, pizza,and cheese cake these recipes taste just as good, it's the main cookbook I use to cook for my family, my parents have lost 50 lbs and don't really feel like they are dieting

Summary: Love it - YUM!
Review: I bought this book on the recommendation of a friend. The recipes are easy and call for a lot of low-fat/fat free products that you already have in your pantry. Most are easy and quick to make and very tasty. So far, I am very satisfied with each of the recipes I have tried.... There was a time that I would have shyed away from fat free products, but they have improved so much, that I can't tell the difference. I never thought I would ever admit liking fat free sour cream, or fat free whipped cream. Try it, folks, and I can guarantee you will like it.

If you are looking to eat low fat and not give up taste, and not spend a lot of time in the kitchen, this book is it!!!! The recipes are super easy (all 30 minutes or less, and 7 ingredients or less), and all very low fat and good! My family hasn't been disappointed yet. I recommend the pineapple snack cake, it takes 2 minutes to make, 20 minutes to bake and tastes just like pineapple upside down cake with only 1 gram of fat!!!! Try this book, it is worth it!

Summary: LOVE IT!
Review: I LOVE this book! The recipes are great and so easy! I made "Perfect Pineapple Cookies" first and they were fantastic!! I would recommend this book to anyone!
