Summary: You can't ask for a better book sequel!
Review: More great recipes from the writers of the original Clone Brews. A lot of Belgian recipes! This book contains food suggestions to serve with your beer (or is it the other way around) and some cooking recipes. Very useful tables in the back. This book is good for everyone, from the beginner to the expert.

Summary: Every thing you wanted to know
Review: Rather, "everything you wanted to know about home brew but were afraid to ask in a busy brew store on Saturday morning". Obviously too long, but says it all. Tess and Mark take the home brewer to the next level from the "bake-a- cake" type receipe follower to a confident brewer. An example of this is the section on water. It definitiatly clearifys any questions the reader may have had concerning his or her water and its inportantance. After brewing five beers from the book I'm the hit of the family and the neighborhood, and am now considering changing my name and moving to Seattle to brew in peace. js

Summary: Beer Captured
Review: Tess and Mark Szamatulski have really outdone themselves this time. Along with helpful information for the beginner and the advanced homebrewer, in this book, they take the work out of brewing and put the fun back into it. They "capture" recipes from around the world and give them to us to fully enjoy. This book is a must for the beginner as well as the experienced.

Summary: these formulas are a great way to brew your favorite beers.
Review: The couple that wrote these books runs the brew-shop that I go to. They are so nice! Very helpful and expert brewmasters as well.
Well to help you buy the book, the most helpful thing I can tell you is that they give 3 different methods to do each formula: extract, mini-mash, and all grain. So no matter what level you are comfortable with [or have time for], you can make beer that tastes just like the store bought brands [but better if you can believe it].
If you think you can't brew better than what you can buy, this book has sent me to tell you: think again! you can brew better!

Summary: This book has made me an award winning homebrewer!
Review: This book and book one (clone brews) are my bibles when it comes to finding straight-forward answers and suggestions for good reliable clone brewing. I was very fortunate to have placed second in one of the biggest homebrew competitions in the Northeast "The best of Brooklyn" in Brooklyn NY. Thanks to this book I can make my favourite commercial beers right here at home, and by the way I'm an all-grain brewer. I don't know what our friend in the Netherlands is talking about by not believing in the simplicity of the recipes without even trying them. I raise my pint glass to Mark & Tess Zzamatulski!

Summary: Fun Book
Review: This is a fun book for any home brewer or beer lover. There are 150 recipes for all kinds of beers. Every recipe has a short description of the beer, plus some interesting tidbits about the brewer or the name of the beer or some other piece of tricia. The recipes themselves are easy to follow and make great beer (I have won ribbons with beers from their first book, "Clone Brews").

The thing I really love about this book are the serving suggestions. They are not your run of the mill, serve-with-red-meat kind of suggestions. For example, a particular imperial stout suggestion is to serv it "in a goblet glass with a double thick porterhouse steak smothered in wild mushroom sauce topped with crumbled bleu cheese and sauteed prawns." It just makes you want to brew and cook!

Summary: A must have for homebrewers
Review: This is one of the best homebrewing books on the market. It is a true inspiration. Some clones are just on the spot like the Tommyknocker maple and the Bridgeport IPA. Many "clones" are WAAAAY off, though, and they clearly show that sometimes the authors wildly guessed as opposed to test all their recipes. I maintain 5 stars because, any recipe I extrapolated out of this book was excellent. Clone at your own risk :-)

Summary: mark and tess you're the besst
Review: This is THE best book available for homebrewers. It covers beer styles from A to Z. The recipes compliment the brews very well, a must when brewing at home. One gets very hungry with the constant smell of malted barley wafting thru the air. There's 150 recipes to choose from and I want to brew them all. The beers chosen for their cloning project represent a very broad selection of the what the world has to offer....yummy. If I start now perhaps I can brew each of these recipes in about a 3 year period...that should keep me busy. This is also one of the most thorough treatments of homebrewing from an aroma and flavor perspective. I really enjoy knowing how all the brews will react with my olifactories. My compliments to the authors for this ballet of brewing information.
