Summary: A real timesaver!
Review: As an extremely busy person, I am always looking for fast and easy things to cook and bake. The Bisquick Cookbook is perfect for me! The recipes typically call for ingredients that you have on hand and are always easy to make. For example, this weekend I woke up Saturday morning, we were snowed in, and I wanted to have something besides cereal for breakfast. I started browsing through my various cookbooks and the only one that came through for me was this one. This is a great cookbook!

Summary: Original Bisquick is still a secret.
Review: Good ideas for making things out of Bisquicks - however you are supposed to buy the bisquick mix to use the recipies in this book. Wish they showed how to make the bisquick mix at home - but then I guess the stores couldn't sell it any more.

Summary: A great cookbook
Review: I love this book, keep Bisquick on hand and make waffles and pancakes that are to die for. But the real reason I bought this book is we love the Impossible Pies. Impossible pies that are for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. They are all wonderful. The fruit pies are great too, and so easy, along with so many dinner ideas that are simple. Which is important as time is so short these days. This cookbook will expand the menu at any home.

Summary: The most useful cookbook!
Review: I recieved this book as a Christmas gift last week and have already used this book several times.This is one of the most handy cookbooks that I have come across. I was pleasantly surprised with the variety. In addition to standard Bisquick waffles and biscuits there are sophisticated entrees and desserts. The cocunut chicken with apricot glaze was wonderful! This is a lavishly illustrateed book with a photo of every recipe and many illustrated side bars offering technique! Each recipe is explained step by step. The chicken and dumplings turned out perfectly thanks to the great advice! This is a fantastic investment with so many delicious and creative recipes! This is already one of my favorite cookbooks!

Summary: everything you need in a cookbook
Review: I was very impressed with this cookbook. Photo's are important to me to visualize what the finished recipe should look like. This book is full of photo's with practically every meal. Not just for desserts, this book has excellent one dish meals. They are easy to make and don't take a lot of time to prepare. Great for working mom's. I have tried several of the recipes in this book and they have all been "keepers". They are also good as leftovers the next day (that is if you have any left!)

Review: I've seen different Bisquick recipes in other magazines...but it is nice to have ALL the recipes in one easy to use book! Fantastic book - easy to follow directions and lots of great pictures. I've made several of the recipes for family and I am always told "this is a keeper."

Summary: Easy Recipes
Review: Many of the recipes that I have used in this book have been very easy to use and have tasted good. The color photos, easy-to-read text, and "fold flat" spiral binding also make it easy to work with in the kitchen (no more fighting with books that keep trying to close themselves).
My favorites have turned out to be: "string cheese sticks," "caramel-apple cake," and "chicken and dumplings." I have personally been disgusted with the level of grease in the recipes like "impossibly easy cheeseburger pie" where Bisquick is used as a sort of bread under a hamburger mix which is why I gave this book a 3 star rating instead of 5. Overall a good choice for inexpensive and easy recipes.
