Rating: Summary: A MUST HAVE BOOK FOR LOW CARBERS!! Review: What a perfect addition to my low carb library!! Baking Low Carb was superb, but Bread and Breakfast by Diana Lee is simply the best low carb bread (and more!) cookbook I have ever seen!! It includes chapters packed full of recipes for yeast breads and rolls, quick breads, and "other" breakfast options (as well as eggs) like pancakes, waffles, custards, french toast, cereals, toppings and fillings!!! A Low Carbers DREAM!! It also includes directions to make low carb specialty coffee drinks like Cappuccino, Mocha, Latte, etc. Diana starts off with an easy to read "Before you begin" section which explains in simple english, the differences in low carb baking to regular baking, the ingredients and WHY you need certain things to be successful with recipes. She give in depth instructions on where to find ingredients with several options, and describes her ingredients perfectly so you KNOW what to buy. She includes a page of low carb baking tips, and page of recipe substitutions, as well as measurement, substitution equivalencies and even two pages on folding fancy napkins. NO low carber should be without this book! We love it at my house.
