Rating: Summary: A Fun Book To Cook With Review: As a life long NY Yankee fan and constant tailgate partier I love a good BBQ. And as much as I love hotdogs and burgers sometimes you want to do something different.Bobby Flay's book as his TV Show chilling and grilling show you some easy to make great stuff to cook on the grill. There is not much that needs to be said here other than the book is easy to follow and the food is good. Check out the Tuna burgers!
Rating: Summary: Bobby Flay's Boy Meets Grill Review: Bobby Flay comes through in this book with his flair for strong flavors, simple recipes, and grilling techniques. I especially like the non-meat recipes like Grilled Flatbreads, and veggie recipes. The meat recipes are excellent also, as well as his special relishes and marinades. This book made me run out into a cold Maine winter night and fire up the grill!
Rating: Summary: Diverse, Easy, and Great Tastes Review: Bobby Flay really puts together a great cookbook this time out with all of his grill favorites. As usual with Flay, the recipes are easy to follow, and really maximizes the use of common kitchen ingredients. What I found most impressive is that Flay keeps it simple with hamburgers, pizzas (yes pizza on the grill), chicken, and seafood recipes that anyone can make. Sometimes some extra effort is needed to create the homemade sauces, but its worth it in the end. Of particular interest to me was the way he uses various fruits and fruit juices in the dish. The instructions are quite clear and he covers many basic questions about the grill. If you never tried any of Bobby's recipes or seen his show, you're missing out. Can't wait for the next book.
Rating: Summary: Best cookbook on the planet Review: Bobby Flay's strength is showing you how to cook fantastically tasting recipes with incredible ease. While his other cookbooks were a little complex, this one is straightforward and easy. I must have cooked almost everything out of this book at least once. Favorites are the Paella, Grilled chicken with Yogurt-Cilantro sauce, and Grilled eggplant salad with cumin dusted flour tortillas. My husband says that the Grilled Loin of Lamb with grilled pitas and yogurt sauce is the greatest thing he's ever eaten....and this is a man who dines in most of NYC's finest restaurants frequently for business!
Rating: Summary: Don't Waste Your Time Review: Don't waste your time unless you are a Bobby Flay groupie. Instead, try one of Chris Schlesinger and John Willoughy's books like "Thril of the Grill" or "License to Grill". Those books provide much more thoughtful advice on grilling technique with both traditional and exotic ingredients.

Rating: Summary: THE BEST BBQ COOKBOOK I OWN. Review: EVERY RECIPE WORKS!! WE HAVE NO FAVORITES AND MY HUSBAND MAKES DINNER NOW. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR DIFFERENT TASTES FROM THE BBQ.
Rating: Summary: Outstanding for its style and range Review: Flay's not fancy BUT if you want casual, versatile, and unusual, then this book's for you. There's a broad range of food groups represented, many in truly outstanding combinations. You can enjoy most of these recipes even if you're a rank amateur and there's enough challenge for the accomplished grill master. Here's what keeps that fifth star off-the-board: Wonderful recipes, solid art and photo work, great ingredient combinations. SO WHAT'S THE PROBLEM, YOU ASK??!! No menu suggestions! A bunch of great food items, but no ideas about how to pull them together. Yes, a minor trifle to some, but it's the kind of thing that separates the truly great from the really good. So just go ahead and mix and match at your own discretion. Its grilling, not fine French cuisine. Ladies, buy it for Fathers' Day, or for the man in your life. It's a great guy's cookbook. Guys, buy it and wow your friends and neighbors, or treat your special someone to outstanding relaxed, casual food. Everyone, you won't be disappointed. This is a solid casual cookbook filled with fine recipes and good information. Stoke up that fire! PS: If you try one, and only one recipe, go for the "Cedar-Planked Salmon". You'll never go back to the old way.
Rating: Summary: Get ready to to launch off to great flavor Review: Great cookbook, nothing bad in it. Highly reccomend the morrocon rubbed lamb with apricot chutney, It was a big hit at a party we gave. If you are bored with the same old things, try this book. Some recipies are labors of love, but well worth the time and most coplex dishes can be prepared ahead.
