Summary: Hope Realized! Fun Tearing Through This Cookbook!
Review: Tyler writes in his preface: "I hope you have as much fun tearing through this cookbook as my team and I did creating it."

Goal reached, Tyler! This cookbook is Tyler! His laid back, easy going, fun loving spirit exudes forth in this recipe collection. Not pretentious food, just good, solid cusine of all types and for all occassions. From sophisticated to the simple, for one or two, to a block party, they're all covered in slightly over 300 pages with four-color, sharp bright energetic photos, and great commentary running: e.g. one of my favs: "Behind every great culture there is a kitchen." Multiple cultures are well represented here, Eastern, Mexican, tropical, Italian, etc.

This is well balanced, creative and unique in its style and wide variety of cuisine, with such sections as "Table For Two" "One Pot Wonders".

Summary: This book should be in every kitchen! (For all levels)
Review: Whether you love to cook, or just love to eat, you'll enjoy this well-written, and beautifully photographed cookbook. The recipes are not difficult, and you will look like a Star Chef. You'll find some creative, and simple to do, recipes for unusual hors d'oeuvres--truly impressive! And the other recipes for any type of meal you could possibly want to eat, or serve--they're here. Tyler Florence has a very natural and neighborly way of helping us in the kitchen. Beginner level to professional chef--this book is for you--it's for all of us who love to cook, or simply love to eat, & even for those who wish they could cook. (It's really for EVERYBODY!) This is your guide. And the Bill Bettencourt photographs are absolutley mouth-watering. This is everything a cookbook should be--it's lovely, and fun to read. Makes a great gift too. (you'll find humor in this book, as well as fabulous recipes,& lovely photos) Enjoy! Every page is a pleasure.

Summary: Fantastic and user-friendly cookbook!
Review: You won't be intimidated by this wonderful cookbook from Tyler Florence, arguably the most charismatic and talent cooking personality on the Foot Network. The only reason I took off a star from a perfect rating was the mystifying 4 (!) typos I found in the text. Where were his editors for this high-end, glossy bestseller? Hopefully, there won't be any errors when it comes to executing the recipes...which all seem to be incredibly delicious and sensibly written for both the novice and master chef. Bon appetit!
