Rating: Summary: Every Recipe is Amazing! Review: Every recipe we have tried has been wonderful. We have an outdoor kitchen and entertain often - all of our friends are impressed with these recipes! We love the Mediterranean Chilean Sea Bass - but, we leave out the lavender. The grilled pears and pound cake with caramel sauce gets rave reviews as well. Best cookbook we have ever used!
Rating: Summary: A Delicious Read! Review: Although we (my husband and I) have been grilling for over 30 years, we realized that our techniques could use some improvement. This book makes good grilling easy. If you can read and follow simple directions, you can be a grill master. We keep our book near the grill so we can refer to it to check what heat to use, how long to cook, etc. If you want to grill and enjoy your food, buy this book!
Rating: Summary: Perfect grilling book for all levels Review: After buying this book on a whim, I immediately purchased one for everyone in my family who owns a grill. The recipes are fantastic and easy to follow. It is a must for anyone who wants to impress.
Rating: Summary: Best cookbook I have ever had!!!! Review: I got a grill for a wedding present, and when I bought this book, my wife has not been able to pry me away from the grill! Everything I have tried from this book has been outstanding. My friends say I've become quite a gourmet. My wife says she will never cook again, which is no great loss.
Rating: Summary: Great Grilling Book Review: This is the best book on grilling I have seen in a long time-excellent recipes including those for all kinds of mixtures for flavorings. If you own a Weber grill you are in for a treat and even if you don't it is a great book to own. I have tried most of these and all are excellent. My Weber grill out beat all my relatives grills hands down. The only thing I wish it had is a spiral binding so it would lay flat.
Rating: Summary: Pictures good enough to eat Review: If you like cookbooks as much for the gorgeous pictures inside as for the recipes, you will NOT be disappointed by this compilation. Mouthwatering pictures and easy-to-follow recipes make this one of the most useful and beautiful cookbooks we own. It's made the kitchen a LOT cooler this summer. And, best of all, it has inspired my husband (the grill-meister in our family) to become the chef for the family more frequently than I could have imagined. You'll be buying a lot of charcoal, but loving every minute of it!
Rating: Summary: Grill On! Review: Can I just tell you that I love this book!! My Dad just got this for me about a month ago and I've been grilling up a storm at least 3 nights a week ever since! In fact, for my Mother's birthday party, I cooked up 22 Maple Glazed Pork Chops with Suckatash Salad and everyone was wishing that I had made more! For one who has been cooking for about 5 years now, I have to say that this is my new favorite book. And one can not go with out reading the story about the Ham Sandwiches. I was laughing so hard that my parents wanted to know what it was all about, so I read them the story and they quickly joined in the laughter. And even though I live in a pretty cold area of the county, the upper Midwest, I don't plan on letting the frigid below freezing temperatures stop me from grilling up some mouthwatering meals! Like the Holiday Beef Tenderloin with red/pink peppercorns that I'm planning to grill for Christmas Dinner. The organization of it is well appreciated, not to mention the drool-inducing photographs!
Rating: Summary: The Best Father's Day Gift I ever Bought! Review: I purchased this book for my father and my husband for Father's Day this year and is is the best thing that ever happened to my entire family! We have tried new recipes every weekend and every single one of them has been a winner. The variety of sauces and rubs makes my mouth water while I'm typing this review.I would recommend this book to anyone, BBQ King (or Queen) or beginner!
Rating: Summary: A fantastic book, all around Review: Publisher's Weekly above has got it all wrong. Yes, the cookbook might mention Weber grills peripherally as it relates its wonderfully well-written anecdotes and stories, but the fact of the matter is that the people at Weber are the best in the world at what they do, and they do only one thing: grill. I own a number of grill books, including the popular and oft-sited ones by Steve Raichlen, and thus far I've found this to be superior in every way. True, I've only had it for a few months. But the stories and writing alone make it worth the (very low) cover price. In fact, not two weeks ago I had to stop cooking, sit my girlfriend down and have her read a particular entry. The writing was intelligent, witty, and overall stronger than much of what I come across in literature today. A great book, on many levels. (Being a giant Weber fan in general, I may be a teeny bit biased, but I swear you won't be disappointed if you buy this book...)
